What Our Customers Say:
My whole life I have needed healing from my past experiences. I wanted to become a whole and healthy. To achieve this positive state of existence requires a change in the mind, body, and soul. After two weeks at Yoga Home of Therapeutics I have acquired a positive change in my thought processes, my physical body and my relationships with others. The healing process came through a combination of therapy, which I hate, and yoga which I love. This has allowed my mind to become open to the positive aspects of life. I finally have found a community of caring and genuine individuals. My deepest gratitude to Yoga Home of Therapeutics.
There are no strangers that walk in the door at the Yoga Home of Therapeutics….one is automatically extended the warmth and love of friendship. True intention for the highest good for her clients and their healing process is so evident in all of Sara Alavi’s interactions, in her voice, her smile, her therapeutic touch and beingness. The studio is clean, roomy and bright. The classes are thoughtfully rounded out for all people with different needs and capabilities. Tao of Friendship is a great concept in friendship and mutual support. Pure goodness and love is what this ”home” is all about!
When we were in Peru, we, of course, visited Machu Picchu. Everyone had warned us about altitude sickness, but since we had visited the Canadian Rockies a few months earlier, we didn’t worry about it. However, my husband & I started to have headaches and shortness of breath, etc. when we were in the Andes. We noticed the hotels had oxygen machines that people were using. But I remembered my yoga “breathing”! It saved my & my husband’s life! And, I’m sure my yoga practice also made the physical demands of that trip easier — it was a strenuous vacation. Thank you, Sara!!
I initially discovered Sarah through a very good friend of mine. I learned that she had a studio so I started attending. I am very thankful to have discovered Yoga Home of Therapeutics during a painful and traumatic period in my life. I went through a loss that would take my a long time to heal from. I discovered that attending classes at Yoga Home of Therapeutics helped me both physically, spiritually, and emotionally. I have recently had many blessings that have kept me from attending, but I will be going back. I highly recommend her studio for all levels of students. It is a wonderful experience with a wonderful teacher.
I will be forever grateful to Sara for creating the Yoga Home and the Tao of Friendship. My experience has been excellent. Gwyneth and Kay, part of Tao of Friendship, were angels coming over to my house after my surgery. Excellent nursing and support. Audrey, took me to the Dr. to get sutures removed and took me back home. I couldn’t believe people were out there that really would help without me paying them! I want to be a part of this group too and start giving back. I am excited to start my yoga practice again too.
I began yoga to improve my flexibility and core strength, and discovered a yoga practice improves many other things! The basics of breathing, staying centered and in the present, and body awareness taught here have helped me in so many aspects of my life.
